How far along Oxford Street are you from Woollahra?

About a kilometre from Queen Street, which is roughly thirteen minutes on foot and flat the whole way. From the Light Brigade Hotel end it is under ten minutes. It is the shortest trip of any of the suburbs around us.

Is it worth driving from Queen Street?

Usually not. It is only about a kilometre, so by the time you have found a space at this end you would have walked it. If you do drive, Underwood Street runs directly behind the practice and is unmetered with a two hour limit.

Which bus do I take from Woollahra?

The 333, 352 or 440. All three run along Oxford Street and stop at Paddington Town Hall, about eighty metres from our door. The Light Brigade Hotel stop is the closest to us, then Oxford Street at Victoria Avenue. From the Queen Street village, the 389 runs to Five Ways in Paddington, which is a five minute walk from us.

Is there parking on Oxford Street near you?

There is. Oxford Street outside the practice is metered eastbound until 4pm and unmetered for two hours westbound from 10am. Most patients use Underwood Street behind us instead, which is unmetered with a two hour limit. The Gordon Car Park on Newcombe Street is paid and about five minutes on foot, and it is closed on Saturdays.

Are you inside the Woollahra council area?

Yes. The practice is in Paddington, at the Oxford Street end, and Paddington sits inside the Woollahra Municipal Council area. So if you live in Woollahra you are in the same council area as us, a kilometre or so up the same street.
