No, and it is worth saying plainly because the name suggests otherwise. The Surry Hills stop on Devonshire Street runs to Central one way, and out towards Moore Park, Randwick and Kingsford the other. Neither direction brings you to Oxford Street. Take the 352 from Crown Street.
You can, and it is not flat. It is about twenty two minutes from the Foveaux Street end and eighteen from Albion Street, along Hannam Street, South Dowling Street and Napier Street before it joins Oxford Street. It undulates most of the way, then rises gently over the last third.
From Paddington Town Hall on Oxford Street, about 76 metres from our door. Get off at Shannon Reserve or at Crown Street at Albion Street. The Crown Street stops are not paired across the road, so the stop you get off at going home is not the one you boarded at.
