About eight minutes by car down Ocean Street. Closer to thirty on public transport, because it means a change at Edgecliff.
Only if you enjoy the exercise. It is about 2.2 kilometres and roughly thirty minutes, and it climbs the whole way from the bay up to the Oxford Street ridge.
Good if you are out for a walk or a run. Hard work if you are not, so most patients drive it instead.
Head west along New South Head Road, turn left into Ocean Street and follow it up the hill to Oxford Street. Turn right, and the practice is a short way along on your right, near Paddington Town Hall, with Underwood Street running behind it. Allow extra time between 8:00 and 9:30 on weekdays, when New South Head Road and Oxford Street both slow down.

Underwood Street runs directly behind the practice and is unmetered with a two hour limit, which is what most patients use. Oxford Street outside is metered eastbound until 4pm and unmetered for two hours westbound from 10am. The Gordon Car Park on Newcombe Street is paid, undercover and about five minutes on foot, and it is closed on Saturdays, so aim for the street if you are coming in on a Saturday morning.
The scan is done by an imaging provider, and your GP arranges it as part of the assessment. For Double Bay patients that part is usually on your doorstep, so the imaging happens close to home and only the consult and the results are in Paddington. Reception will tell you what to book and in what order.
Yes, though it takes a change. The 324, 325 and 326 run along New South Head Road to Edgecliff Station. From the station it is a twenty one minute walk and it climbs, or you can take the train to Bondi Junction and the 333 or 440 back along Oxford Street to the Paddington Town Hall stop.
